SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Alexander II Zabinas, 128-122 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31 mm, 16.45 g, 1 h), Antiochia on the Orontes. Diademed head of Alexander II to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - AΛEΞANΔΡOΥ Zeus seated left, holding Nike in his right hand and long scepter in his left; to outer left, monogram; below throne, Δ. SC 2220.2c (this coin). Very rare. Beautifully toned and with an elegant portrait. The obverse slightly double struck, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
